	Celebrate the Sea This project aims to facilitate a shared appreciation of the beauty of our oceans and the creatures which live in them and to encourage responsible behaviours in regard to looking after our beaches. Getting started: Teachers Please read "for the teacher" Create your profile with a description and an image (just click on your login name at the top right of the page) Help is available during school hours by phoning Cecily Wright on 08 8334 3288 Students Create your profile with a description and an image (just click on your login name at the top right of the page) Create an entry about yourself or your team in the Introductions glossary. Try all the activities Activities marked with the iwb symbol are most suited to use on an interactive whiteboard For the Teacher Resource News forum Glossary of Introductions Enter your school name in the Glossary. Write about yourself or your team. How old are you? Where is your school? Do you live near the coast or in an inland town or city? Introduce yourself or your team Glossary Discussion Forum Join an online forum to discuss the beach. You could also use this forum to discuss the impact we have on the ocean. What can we do to care for our ocean environment? Discuss the beach and how to care for our oceans Forum

12	"Ask an expert" forum Special forum guest Ros Asten from the Woodbridge Marine Discovery Centre answered lots of questions about sharks, hermit crabs, sea stars, octopus and seahorses and her work at the Woodbridge Marine Discovery Centre in Tasmania. http://www.woodbridge.tased.edu.au/mdc/ The forum is now closed but you can read the questions and answers below Forum: Questions and answers about marine life
