Join the march across the world to support footwear workers' human rights!

The Sneaky Business virtual march travels from factories in Asia to the headquarters of adidas and Nike to ask sports shoe brands to respect workers' rights. Students can take a photo of their sneakers and create their own messages that will encourage footwear manufacturers to take responsibility for their workers rights.

The Millennium Development Goals online project provides information, activities, and discussion forums allowing Primary Years students to learn more about global citizenship.

Celebrate National Tree Day on 31 July by learning more about forests.

The Forests: A global perspective online project aims to engage students in a celebration of forests and increase their understanding of the global issue of sustainable use of forests for 2011 the International Year of Forests. The project includes activities and resources for students from lower primary to lower secondary.

The 2011 Australian Schools Calendar is available to help you get organised for the new school year. It provides a list of events and celebration days with each date linked to event information.

The calendar includes month-by-month 'Be a Detective' activities to encourage you to identify how people are protecting forests and the environment.
